A public hearing on the Draft Environmental Impact Statement was conducted by the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) on Thursday, December 14, 2006 at the Stanley Theatre in Utica, NY. Comment Period Extended - The Bureau of Indian affairs announced at the public hearing on the DEIS that the date by which all comments on the DEIS must be received by the BIA has been extended from January 8, 2007 to February 22, 2007 Additional Public Hearing Scheduled - A public hearing on the DEIS will be held on Tuesday, February 6, 2007, beginning at 6:00 p.m., in the auditorium of the Vernon-Verona-Sherrill High School, located at 5275 State Route 31, Verona, New York |
